“He’s just great!” is often commented by families and residents about Doug Simmons, our Social Services Director. Doug was born here in Hamilton Montana. He tried to leave and actually managed to stick it out in Portland, Oregon for 10 years. Then Doug realized you can’t take Montana out of the Montanan. Happy to return, Doug joined Valley View Estates in 2000 and in 2001 he became our full-time Social Services Director. When not talking to new people about moving in, he is out and about visiting residents, being an advocate for them and their families.

Whether you need help for your parent or yourself, you might get to meet Doug anyway since he is on call for the Bitterroot Valley EMS. A 911 call just might have him at your door!

Feeling like working at Valley View was meant to be, Doug loves it here so much he even let his grandmother live with us for awhile. We are sure happy to have him as a part of our family.
